Privacy Policy

RC public beta (Path A): No fees are charged during this release. Cloud accounts and workspace sync are optional; you may use BYOK (your own API keys) and local editing without signing up.

Scope

This policy applies when you use optional cloud features on our hosted AI IDE site (e.g. https://ai-ide-flame.vercel.app) and related APIs. Self-hosted deployments are operated by their respective hosts.

Information we collect

Account: email address and display name (optional avatar URL).
Cloud workspaces: project files and settings you choose to store in the cloud.
Usage metrics: AI request counts for public-beta quota display — not your API keys, chat content, or code sent to model providers.
Session cookie: auth-token (HttpOnly) to keep you signed in.
Technical logs: IP, timestamps, and errors as recorded by the hosting platform for security and reliability.

Information kept on your device by default

Third-party AI API keys, theme, and language preferences (browser localStorage / IndexedDB).
Local workspaces and offline usage counters when you are not signed in or not using cloud sync.

What we do not process on our servers

API keys and AI conversations are sent directly to your chosen AI provider. We do not proxy or store them on our application servers unless we announce a change.

Storage and subprocessors

Cloud database: managed PostgreSQL (e.g. Neon).
Application hosting: e.g. Vercel (static assets and serverless APIs).
Collaboration (Beta): WebRTC may transfer edit data peer-to-peer; see Terms of Service.

Purpose

We use this data to provide accounts, cloud sync, quota display, security, and stability. We do not process payments during the public beta.

Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and cloud workspaces; we will remove production data within a reasonable period; backups may persist briefly.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and cloud data via the contact channel below.

Children

The service is intended for users who can enter a binding agreement under local law. Do not register if you are below the minimum age in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the site or repository. Continued use of cloud features means you accept the updated policy.
