Overview

AI IDE offers optional paid subscriptions (Pro and Team) for platform AI features and increased usage quotas. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases made through our payment partners.

Merchant of Record (Paddle — international)

For customers outside mainland China who pay in USD via Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record. Your receipt is issued by Paddle. Refund eligibility, tax treatment, and chargeback handling follow Paddle’s policies and applicable consumer laws in your country.

Request a refund through Paddle’s checkout receipt email or the Paddle customer portal linked from your subscription management page in AI IDE.
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method; timing depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
After a refund, your subscription is canceled and plan benefits revert according to our Billing & Subscriptions page.

Alipay (mainland China)

For CNY purchases via Alipay, refunds for duplicate charges, payment without service delivery, or verified system errors may be handled manually. Contact us via GitHub Issues with your order ID and payment time. Refunds, when approved, follow Alipay’s rules and may take several business days.

Non-refundable cases

Change of mind after a subscription period has started and platform AI quota has been consumed, except where local law requires otherwise.
Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.
Third-party API or network outages outside our control when BYOK or local-only features are used.

Cancellation (not a refund)

You may cancel renewal at any time from the in-app subscription settings. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless you choose immediate downgrade where supported.
